Dec 2008 Excursion of the Nanomaterials & Imaging Lab to Norfolk, VA, visiting the USS Wisconsin and the Navy Museum.

Dec 2008 Our new "NTEGRA Prima" scanning probe laboratory was delivered and installed! The new research lab at The College of William and Mary is now fully operational.

Dec 2008 Publication appears in ACS Nano:
"Bending Properties of Single Functionalized Graphene Sheets Probed by Atomic Force Microscopy". ACS Nano 2, 2577–2584 (2008).

Dec 2008 The capacity of the Imaging class (Spring 2009), has been increased to 20, in order to allow more students to take the class.

Nov 2008 Publication appears in Langmuir:

Oct 2008 The new web page of the Department of Applied Science at The College of William and Mary was launched.
